Prof. Wally Thomas appointed UQ CCVB Co-Director

Professor Wally Thomas has been appointed Co-Director of the UQ Centre for Cardiac and Vascular Biology, taking over from Dr Enzo Porrello who has taken up a position at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in Melbourne.

 

Prof. Thomas leads the Receptor Biology Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine's School of Biomedical Sciences. The lab's research focuses on understanding the relationship between GPCRs and the cardiovascular system in health and disease.
